As a form of our responsibility to the public around us, which is channeled through KAGUM Social Responsibility (KSR) programs, on January 28th KAGUM Hotels launched an aid program towards the victims of the flood disaster on Dusun Pusaka Negara, an area located approximately located 5 km away from Pamanukan Subang. This program was done in cooperation with Perhimpunan Hotel & Restoran Indonesia (Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association) Bandung.
Various aids were given to help the victims through the flood and post-flood period, including wearable clothes for adults and children, blankets, sleeping sheets, and various medicines to help those who were stricken by diseases during the disaster. Aids in from of food and beverages such as instant noodles, coffee, milk, and rice were also given, including various silverware and dining equipment, as well as bathing amenities. KAGUM Hotels also provided aid for children and toddlers, such as diapers and various other items. KAGUM Hotels also provided aid in form of school amenities intended for children.
The amount of victims affected by the flood amounted to more than 1.200 people, and the people of Dusun Pusaka Negara still require considerable amount of help from those who are willing and capable. We hope that our KSR program can alleviate their concerns even if it just for a little bit, and can help inspire others to provide the victims with the help they deserve.
